Thank-you to DAK_Legion who has inspired me to make a new mod for PITF.  With the completion of North Korea and CCMT: IDF (Israeli Defense Force), I am combining the two for PITF.  The idea is based on the Yom Kippaur War of 1973, but moved forward to the current time.  Egypt has crossed the Suez into the Sinai Peninsula and Syria (along with Hamas and Hezbollah militia) have invaded the Golan Heights area.  Syria will use Soviet based material and Egypt will use a mix of US and Russian material (imagine a T-80 fighting next to a M1A1).  Israel will use a mix of home manufactured material as well as some American weapons (M-4's, M82 Barrett's, etc).  I have finished putting the maps together (thank you to the developers of the CCV: El Alamein and Afrika Korps mods!).  Next I will move into adding IDF weapons.  I will keep the forum posted and will add pictures as I go along.  Happy modding!

How are we going to install a mod for PITF? Plugin Manager doesn't support it, and I know think we have an installer builder for it either.

Mooxe is not necessary any app for create a plugin

You can use installator pluging breng novak for LSA for create plugin and during the install of your mod change select file for install...matrix games/panthers in the fog....

In the past i create a plugin north korea incursion and work fine fine;)

This mod takes place mostly on the Sinai Peninsula.  Near the bottom of the peninsula is the oldest Christian monastery in the Muslim World, St Catherine's.  I need a desert map with a monastery/cathedral/church on it.  (Right now I am using a map that just has a small village in the center).  The cathedral itself is walled in; I tried FtCapuzz, but it didn't look right.  Any suggestions!  Mooxe, how do I upload to this site so that I can post CCPITF: North Korea Invasion?

One note: I know the West Bank/Golan Hghts are well north of the Sinai; but, I wanted to include the Syrian attack, too.  The 5 eastern maps and not-accessible to the remainder of the maps, except through map17. The western maps have no access to the "West Bank". I know when CC5 came out I learned how to develop a STRAT map but I haven't done it since then.  Again, I went for simplicity.  Current status: building UnitStructures and FPools.  Completed most of the gadgs and vehicle files.

Bel, the battles in the Middle East were always a favorite of mine and I never understood why there weren't many games of that period and place. I am really looking forward to what you are working on.

jakebullet70, no custom installer.  I usually just zip everything together so that it can be unzipped and dropped into the respective folders. Except maps...maps are too big.  I have to find somewhere to SAFELY upload those so that you can SAFELY download them, too.

Thanks for the well wishes, gentlemen!  Just an update:

All maps finished and working (still working out some connection bugs, though).

Strat/campaign maps, etc, all finished

All SEUNITICONS, STRPATCH and STRBGICONS completed

Weapons, soldier, AI/AX teams completed

The Israeli's will have the following units in the field:
1st Golani (12th BN, 13th BN, 51st BN, Gadsar BN, 621 Recon Co)
7th Armored (75th BN, 77th BN, 82nd BN, Sayaret 7 Recon Co)
188th Armored (53rd BN, 71st BN, 74 BN, 605th Engr BN, 188th Sayaret BN)
Kfir Brigade (90th BN, 94th BN, 97th BN)

The Egyptians:
6 Mechanized Battalions
2 Recon Battalions
3 Armored Battalions
1 Airborne (414th)
Egyptian Guards Unit
2 Battalions of Special Forces

The Syrians
3 Mechanized Battalions

Normally, there will not be battle groups bigger than a battalion on the field (there are a few "command" units that are a little larger).

While in the hospital, and when I have an internet connection, I am doing research to ensure the accuracy of each BG; though that is bit of challenge since there doesn't seem to be a lot of info.  I am basing the Israeli's on the late 80's TO&E and the Egyptians/Syrians on info I found on the Yom Kipper War in '73 (though the Egyptians have since moved from Russian equipment to American equipment and I will reflect that).

Have you think to make the game for Gatheway to Caen? it would not need more than a few changes, it is equal at 99,9999% or more.

Mod on hold; my daughter is in the hospital and I don't have the time to devote to it right now.  Her stay should be coming to an end shortly and I'll be able to get back on it.  It's mostly done; just needs some tweaking here and there.

Ah, not good, but family does comes first as Schmal_Turm said and I also think. I will be very happy when this comes out. What file type will the mod be? Would we be able to install it automatically or manually?

I think it will take a while, since Bel is focusing on the Vietnam mod for GtC. Tbh, I would like to see this come soon, after the Vietnam mod comes out.
