Maps zip is in this folder http://http://www.closecombatseries.net/Hosted/anzac_lord4war/DDay%20Utah%20Maps/ and must be d/l and extracted to the maps folder for the plugin to work.

Fought three battles against the AI. Dumb as always, but the maps look cool. Very promising indeed.

Looking forward for a h2h with this mod.

It is a plugin file. But rather than unzipping the file change the .zip to .pln and then move it to your plugin folder within the config manager. The link the L4W has provided has two downloads, one is the maps zip file and the other is the plugin file.

You will need to unzip the maps file into the maps folders prior to installing the plugin.

This is the version with a fix for the crashed caused by Pz3
Ill flip it back to the CCS D/L when its suitable for the CCS

hmmm....not getting this one to work for some reason. have played all the mods out there, so i have done this many times over. renamed the .zip to .pln, put it in the plugin folder and installed it. the install went way to fast for the size of the plugin file, so something is wrong there. usually it will take several seconds. and when i try to start the gc it crashes immediately. even after renaming the .zip to .pln it still shows as a zip file appearance wise (ie it looks different from the rest of my plug-ins).
anyone else having a problem with this one?

ok...copied the map index file from the plug in and pasted with the maps in the maps file. that seems to have helped things as i can now start a gc. just wondering if i am actually playing the utah sector mod now lol.

update...having to copy the map index tells me the plugin is not installing (even though it says it is). looks like i'm playing the right maps now but with the stock CC5 files. Confused

u shouldnt need to rename anything,
once downloaded simply unzip/extract the zip
and ull have a pln which works.
all u are doing is is renaming a zipped pln.

CC req Scenario for DDay Utah Sector
just extract/unzip to
C:\Program Files\SSI\Close Combat Invasion Normandy\Games\Save
keep the zip to refresh battles after they have been played.

for fixed plugin which stops a game crash at Mederet caused by Pz3
compatible with a GC which has crashed because of this,so u can continue game.
Also added another little first,CC Req games in the plugin Smile
There is only 2 scenarios/4 battles,but players can submit them and ill add them to plugin.
If u play the CC req game battle,after it has been played it is a used file.
Simply unplug the pln,and replug and it is refreshed,not that u will play same battle 2 times in a row often. Very Happy

my buddy and I just started a h2h gc with the manual plgn fix and all was well on mederet until we finished the round and had the game crash at 0:00. im not sure but at the last second I dropped one of his scout cars, we think it might have been the Pz3 .... is this glitch not fixed in h2h?

sorry havent experienced any 00.00 crashes H2H.
the pz3 bug doesnt affect current battle when destroyed.
it is the next battle when a wreck is deployed

The men in the brown are German Airborn(FJ), Judeing from there soildier icon they should be weaing green. But from what it looks like on the battle they are wearing American AB uniforms.

The American Airborn at the botton clearly look like German FJ.



The men on the left here are German infantry. They are wearing grey witch looks right, But the men on the right are American Calvery. And they are wearing a German Green uniform of some type.


And here we have the German SS!
Im think they look about right, But the American AB are wearing Green FJ.


I will be happy to post every unit in the game if you wish me to?
So we can see witch ones need fixing.
Look... I know you have probley worked your ass off for years just so ppl like me can play your great game. And this is by far my favorite mod i have played.
Im having alot of fun holding towns with my SS troops from the yanks ABs!
This mod has let me react the Utah landings in the most realistic way so far.
But historical accuracy is a huge thing to me. Is there any fix to this?

yer its an easy fix
but i done them in a way if some1 thinks they can, they can redo uniforms.
2 ways u can do
in q clone can play with default uniforms
or u can get a soldier colour exe,where u can get the uniforms right
give me the display numbers
ill upload and let others be the judge.
really has nothing to do with historical accuracy,keep in mind its just a game.
BTW SS r using vehicle crew uniforms.but vehicle crew uniforms passes for you.
please feel free to note anything about the game.

After recently reinstalling CC5 due to an error from another mod.My Utah Sector gc is crashing.I redownloaded maps and plugin,can start single game but crashes when try to use old saved gc game.
I then notice this old post and the fix.
The fix is no longer downloadable (expired)
was this incorporated into the main plugin on CCS site?(dont think so)
if not where can i please download it from?
i really want to continue..please repost.
