#1: plugin problem Author: oschabaum, Posted: Mon Feb 20, 2012 7:30 pm — I have been downloading plugins mods for COI. What is odd, I sometimes get the prompt: Error: Could not install the file cc3.exe into the destination C:\Program Files\Close Combat III\. Installer aborted.
Somehow I figure out to get the above problem solved. But now when I go to plugins to uninstal they are not visible. UNLESS I go directly to the exe in my harddrive and click Run as Administrator. I have to do this everytime I change a mod.
Is there a way I can fix this so I don't have to do this extra step every time I want to change a mod?
