Unit Guide - German 75mm PaK 40

ger75cmPaK40

Battlegroup Name: Medium AT Gun
Turret Class: N/A
Turret Type: N/A
Crew: 4
Speed: Very Slow
Weight: 3,142 lb. (1,425 kg)
Engine: N/A
Schürzen: No

Entering the German arsenal in 1942, the PaK 40 was created in response to the ever-increasing quality of Russian tanks. Firing both armor piercing and high explosive rounds the PaK 40 played both anti-tank and infantry gun rolls equally well.
Keep in mind that you will not be able to deploy this unit in buildings. Like all anti-tank guns, the key to its success is effective emplacement. One method that can improve your success when employing multiple AT guns, is to assign each one to a keyboard shortcut. This allows you to quickly switch between guns without having to scroll around the screen.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
