Red Storm Rising is fully fictitious scenario of World War III (partially based on Tom Clancy books). It describes a possible war between NATO and Warsaw pact in 1989 after Gorbachev was retired by a group of Communist fanatics. What caused the conflict - is not important, it begins and you are commander of WP invasion forces or NATO defensive efforts. Nukes have not been used yet and you should finish the war as soon as it is possible - before beginning of nuclear war.
