Download Profile: Kharkov30Beta.zip This Kharkov update is a manual installation, not a plugin. You need to have a full install of CC3 with the 3.0b patch installed. Backup your original installation and copy these files over them.
Kharkov 3.0 Beta description : After years of very hard work my CC3 Kharkov version 3.0 beta version is now ready!!!. I have added both SS units and German heer units to the mod, i also added new marines, guards, NKVD troops and airbourne guards units for the Russians, i have also added new forward artillery observers for both nations, the Germans will have Wurframen Rocket and the Russian will have Katjusha Rockets. Some of the features of the beta version (new changes from version 2.1) : New grand campaign from 1941 to 1943 with 11 operations. 18 new maps like the Kharkov zoo and the Tractorworks maps. New "unique" units like the 8th "Gnome" tiger company and the 11th panzer division. When a unit is destroyed it is destroyed for good, you wont be able to buy the same unit again. New units, Heer, SS (Das Reich and Leibstandarte), guards, airbourne guards, mariens, NKVD troops and patisans. German KGs like KG Hansen, KG Sandig and KG Peiper. New gadget files (Gadget0). New sounds FX and music. New graphics (CCImages) More balanced teams. Lowered AI for better game balance. Better team upgrade paths. New "air recon" strategy maps in sepia with named VLs on the new maps. All new maps made in sepia. Updated txt files for some maps. Some of the new maps fixed (spelling errors and LOS) And more....All the old features of version 2.1 like uniforms graphic, explosion and burning wrecks graphic will still be there. The AI is lowered a bit and the sides are more balanced. Correction to the list of changes, in the beta campaign the Germans will be superior until after operation Back Hand Blow so if you want a real challenge you need to play as the Russians. Remember to play as Hero with the timer set to 9min. Also there is one rule in this mod you need to follow, because of the limitations of the game engine (or my modding skills) you are not allowed to buy the same armor/tank again. Lets say tank 811 from the 8th tiger companey gets destroyed, dont buy it again on the next day/battle or the mod will be far to easy To install the mod, just unzip Kharkov 3.0 beta to the folder where CC3 is installed and remember to overwrite all files. Remember to get all the Kharkov 3.0 maps before you play the mod. Enjoy....
