5CC is a map editor for the CC-series of games (CC2/CC3/CC4/CC5/CCM/RtB/CoI/CCMT), it is NOT a graphics editor. This tool is not supported or endorsed by the original authors/publishers of these games. Make backups of your work often! The editing of maps include:

creating new maps / editing existing maps of (nearly) unlimited size,
terrain and elevation editing,
terrain auto-coding support,
elevation defining via greyscale image import,
tree or other data pattern placing combined with graphic pattern placing,
LOS generating and LOS editing,
roof defining / editing (CC2 & CC3-RtB),
CC2 bridge image defining / editing,
CC2 bailey bridge terrain data creating / editing,
OVM / MMM generating &
map data borders / grid screenshot

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
