Download Profile: CC5_GJS4.4_DeathSounds_Soundmod.zip This sound modification is for use only with the Close Combat 5 mod, GJS version 4.4. All of the small arms sounds are taken from recordings of the actual weapons firing. The amount of pops or bangs you hear matches the amount of ammo expended in the game. I also made changes to all three of the voice files. I noticed that the volume levels in the wave files were not consistent with each other (some were too loud or too soft), so I balanced them out. Additionally, I removed some of the voice files that seemed unneccesary and changed many of the sounds in the GGerVox file to make things more interesting. The "weapon sound" column was the only data changed in the Weapons.adb file. After playtesting, I found that this does not conflict with others who don't have this sound mod installed during multi-player games. When deploying your troops, the music you will hear is from the 1968 classic war movie "Where Eagles Dare."
Unzip this plugin to your /Config Manager/Plugins folder to install. Ensure you have GJS4.4 already installed.
