Sorry, Mr.Mooxe, work on The Battle of Vukowar had stucked because roofs and trees, I made almost all maps (with no roofs and trees), als and ge teams, icons, stratmaps, almost everything, but...I don`t like my colours...they are not enough depressive. mochoho made good, I mean really good, work with weapons...but roofs and trees...
It`s not fair, CCV serial will always be uncomplete without mods based on former Yugoslavian WWII thematics...

THE ONLY TRUE ACHIEVENMENT IS ONE MADE IN STALINGRAD SERIAL.
Everything else are nice pictures from sunny beaches, peacefull forrests, idilic grass fields...here you are, one picture postcard from Staljingrad horror serial, for all mazohistic soulmates that knows feeling when you are trying to stop soviet invasion with Gewehr41 (thats just 15min diversion), when your engineer squad is trying to demolish KV on the other side of map with standard army`s can opener (regular soldier equipement).

mochoho`s grandfather was in Staljingrad with croatian forces. With no food, on dull day, that was the only thing that they can do with their AT can openers Wink

Shoot all you got...sneak to the nearest fresh cold dead body...
In two battles, mine sniper, Herr Krause, had done more KIA with PPSHs than his own weapon. No ammo again? Rename his unit name to "scavenger" before next battle, he, he, he...
BTW, I always had prepared cold beer before every fight with Krause on map, and Motorhead¨s song Born To Raise Hell. And then everything comes spontaneous...[/b]

[quote="Raynor"]Can you ask moderators to change topics from "CC5 Battle of Vukowar" to "CC5 Battle of Vukovar"

When I was a boy
I was told
that most of european languages evolved from sanskrit so as in India you have cities named like Hardawar and so on, in Croatia we have toponims or cities like Daruwar, Bjelowar, etc. Today we write "v" instead "w", but few centuries ago it was "w".

Hope I ll succeed to make better berserk sounds for my CC5 Battle of Vukowar.

If you got any revelant informations, pics, questions, doubts, etc, that can be helpful in making this mod more realistic, please post here. Maybe some of you are living in / near Vukovar, or CC fan from Serbia (for making soldier s sounds, cause accent), please respond.

No, not for weapons, for refreshment - opolchentsi are looking around for more molotovs coctails, and the only drink supplyers are cold dead german bodies. Thats the only way how to continiue party after first 5 minutes, he,he,he... HUUURAAA! ZA MNOOOM! We all know how fanatic they are...they are my favourite squad.

Of couse, for ammunition and weapons. No ammo,no fuel status for major part of divisions. Approx. ammo in the beggining of battle: 30 for vintovka/SVT, 80 for PPsH, AT/AP guns 5, AT rifle 7, etc.

Have fun.

My campaign, play as Comrad. Russians attacks on every map on Volga.
Lot of scavenging. Hard/fun to play first few days, even versus AI.

So WWII is next, arn i cant wait playing a CC5 mod covering the struggle in Yugoslavia from 1944-1945... Was one of the most ugliest fronts at the end of the WAR.

Yes Polemarchos, we always had plenty of time, talent and absurd sense of humor to perform a really good war and almost always won. For God s sake, we actually invented WWI. After creating WWI, selling franchises bussines all around the world was too easy. Market was hungry for this high quality product with 4 years warranty and approx 20million customers. Probablly our biggest invention, beside azitromicin.

WWII mod won t be good, it will be bad and ugly enough to make my day. Your too.

P.S.:I still remember Thanatos s smell - smell of powder in a few kilometers vacuum made by explosion of regional ammunition depot.

Due to my opinion that to most CC-ers news about every new mod have sweet taste...this forum is for keeping you updated about progress.
Starting date: yesterday. End date: we all know how it goes. I waited 2008 for announcement - think that saved me a year of modmaking Wink
An appeal to all experienced mod makers - if you have some written tricks, personall how-to s, map-making procedures, advices and so on, please send. For atachments: alengegac [at] yahoo [dot] com

For now, we (Mochocho and me) are working on The Battle of Vukowar, a modern mod without Uber-mega-superior military equipment, with DerKessel-like atmosphere of horror, pathos & thanatos. Volga replaced with Danube(Dunav).

Subtitle of this mod would be "Armour Graveyard". As it was, defenders suceeded to destroy even more than 130 tanks weekly. It was 86 days long resistance under siege of 700 brave soldiers and 1000 volunteers (all hard as rock fighters) and at the same time a performance of perhaps never seen last stand against approx 50.000 regular soldiers, 1.600 tanks and 2.200 various guns. I mean big guns that fired more than 6,5 millions projectiles during this period.
I ll paraphrase - hope we ll forget all this one day...

Ralistic maps, scale 1:2, unusual configuration of strat map (see pic). Attacker s force pool is, as you seen, almost unlimited, long campaign... We ll have to make more solid maps that could resist long period of destruction, he,he,he...

Balkan was always war-potent area, so in a recent history we got four briliant operations (see pic), for modding. After we learn enough about modding, WWII thematic would be next.

Does all this above sounds interesting?

Dear God, take care of foolish one in attempt to create a CCmod!
