Having popped in to the site a week ago for old times sake I saw the post about GOG and CC. I Iimmediately signed up and got the downloads for my old favourite CC2 and also CC3 which I had not previously played. I always had problems getting my old CDs to install on 'modern' pcs (XP etc). Was pleased to find both games installed easily on my win10 system and seem to be running Ok. Even letting me choose my data drive rather than my tiny system drive. Like welcoming an old friend I look forward to many nights hearing my soldiers bleating "We're pinned down" or "Stretcher!!". Pity CC5 is not yet up as I would like to revisit Okinawa. Perhaps I'll try my CD on Win10.
Well Done. This site is great. I wish I had found it sooner. Although I guess I couldn't have found it much sooner. Having spent about a week downloading the Omaha mod in individual files I would have welcomed an easy solution to 44 maps.
Damn, You had it all along.
In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
