I don't know what else to tell you, you may be out of luck regarding the matter. You would need to use an older version of Windows in order to get it working as intended.

Have you tried forcing vertical sync in the NVIDIA Control Panel, under Manage 3D Settings? Set it to on.

Has anyone used this with the latest version Wacht am Rhein (v4.50.32) and have you ran into any issues?

Make sure that you've got your game up to date, the newer releases are remastered. Their are new options available, including windowed mode. You can enter options prior to loading the game, by holding down the left control key as you load the game as normal. Or the more advanced route, via a registry edit.

I've never had that issue myself, because I don't use Windows 10--but I believe I read somewhere that you need to run the program in a window, instead of in fullscreen.

If only the vehicle pathfinding wasn't so horrendous...

I'll add the one I have for Close Combat 5, but I'd like the others for Wacht am Rhein and Cross of Iron also.

Thanks very much Berger! However, I had made a mistake when I created this thread--I typed shortcuts, when I meant icon files (.ico).

For the new releases I have the Matrix Games versions, and would like the GOG round shortcuts for each version. Would anyone mind uploading those for me--and for others who may be interested as well?

Can someone please post the fixes here on CCS? I can't access the website, and have been able to for a long time. Also, does it break mods or introduce any news bugs?

I haven't tried UTAH with Wacht am Rhein, have you checked the readme.txt file for the mod? It may only work out of the box, without the latest patch applied.

Look in your 'My Documents' folder.

Use snipers as spotters inside victory locations where high ground is limited, as they can't capture area's. Have some other units in the same location away from the capture point, in ambush mode. As the enemy is approaches, pull your sniper out to safety, and hopefully the enemy will be caught unaware.

Just another Matrix Game that will be released, patched once, and forgot about. I hope I'm wrong, but we shall wait and see.

I did a simple modification to the "Sound.sfx" file if anyone is interested; I changed the wave file that you hear when starting a battle over to the default "drum roll" sound; no more Hitler speech\music combo at the start of every battle.

This "example" is for the default installation directory for Wacht am Rhein:
Extract the file to: "C:\Matrix Games\Close Combat Wacht am Rhein\Der_Kessel\LOCALFX"; overwrite the current file; back up the original file if you wish to do so.
