Playing this Mod and I must say very good work indeed. Now looking forward to the Italian Corpo Truppe Volontarie mod. So much potential for more mods featuring the Italians. Plenty of German/Russian/US and British already |

Now I'm working on another submod, Battle of Guadalajara 1937 (Italian CTV VS Republican Army),
Yes finally more mods featuring the sidelined Italians. Good luck with this .Any Mod that works on the Spanish Civil War is most welcome. Very little for the PC gamer featuring the SCW. Only a mod for Call of Duty 2:SCW COD2 |

It could be very interesting a mod about the "X flottiglia MAS" (a sort of Italian marines). Possible scenarios: the Anzio front (against U.S. army) or the eastern front (Selva di Tarnova) against the communists and Tito's army (note that some Italian anti-communist partisans fought in earl '45 together with the X mas). I can provide materials on men and events if someone if anyone is interested.

I believe no new Mods are being worked on for CC5.Perhaps Close Combat Wacht Am Rhein would be a good place to mention this.It would be great to see some RSI units. |

Good IDEA a Mini Mod-Pocket Mod!

I hope that someone with the knowledge will consider the idea. A lot of German Heer/Luftwaffe and SS units are represented. However I think the kriegsmarine have managed to stay off the radar.

Are there any kriegsmarine Naval Infantry Divisions in any of the CC5 Mods? They were drawn from KM personnel without ships and shore based personnel late war.
Axis History
St Nazaire raid would make a great mini mod. |

Thank You. One of my favourite Mods great replay value. Now I have to watch The Winter War (1989) and Fire and Ice: The Winter War of Finland and Russia (TV 2006) again. |

On second thought you would not get a full Mod out of this but a Pocket Mod would be good. |

Thanks for the help Verba but that's not the one. I think the soldier could not talk a 1960's movie set post war I think and he had not surrendered but he was known in the local village.
I cannot find any info after numerous Google keyword searches.

Hi Verba,
No information on a movie called Gebirgsjäger on the net. The movie was based on a book as far as I know. Also he did a lot of Skiing had the rank of private and was armed with a Kar 98 rifle. |

Hello,
I remember seeing a film many years ago about a lone Gebirgsjager who had not surrendered after the war. Set in Austria with snow one scene explained how he had been captured by the partisans and tortured. It was in colour and possibly made in the 1960’s.Can anybody tell me the name of the movie The start of the film I think had two Americans driving along a mountain road in a Jeep.
Regards,

This is a First Class Mod and great to play at this time of year. I have some original Finnish items from WW2. Finnish Artillery Captain collar rank badges as well as a number of Artillery Private badges and one Tank Unit badge that came in a battle scarred red leather box with Finnish coat of arms outlined in Black. |

It would be a real bonus to open up CC5 with new units and maps. The German Vs Allies mods are fun but it needs something new the La Batalla del Ebro and Afrika 40 mods are great examples. Concerning Vichy I would recommend this book: England's Last War Against France Fighting Vichy 1940-42 by Colin Smith. Syria and Madagascar were the main areas of engagement.
I am not a Mod maker but I thought it would be interesting to feature some Vichy or Italian RSI forces. |

Help Greek Mod. Cross of Iron.
I am currently on operation 4 of 14 / Day 1 of 8. When I try to load the map I get a Close Combat Error Message with no details. All the compatibility /screen resolution settings are I believe correct. Is this Mod full of bugs maybe |
