Yep. I'll second everything that's been said here. After all that's been said and done over the years CC.net has become the spiritual (and virtual of course) home for CC. I am amazed by the sheer amount of readily available DLC that has been here for years on end now. It's also wonderful to see quite a few 'younger' players popping up as well. So Mooxe, well done and thank you for your dedicated service to the community. Without yourself, CC would be a small collection of disks sitting on shelves never getting used. BZ mate. |

Have just found my original CC1 disk and want to install it on Win10. I thought I had lost it years ago and not played it since Pentium 3 days.
Long shot here but: 1. Can I? and 2. How do I? |

Steve is a good guy, I did testing on Pitf as well and he was genuinely interested and responsive to criticism and bug finding. BUT he was also clear that the release date was set in stone by others and was going ahead regardless of what we found. Thats the business..............
|
Yes spot on mate. Well said.
Anything after commercial release from whomever [at] games [dot] com appears to not have any priority with regard to fixes and patches after a period of time, but yes thats business I suppose.
Trying to play a simuator on Steam at present and it's (the game) as buggy as hell. Apparently the game egine is over 10 years old and is limited......heard that before somewhere too......... |

Yes me too. Always quality for a great larf and trying to thread splice the topic(s).
Me thinks we got old.
I for one am getting all my cc stuff back on hard disk and setting it all up. Only ones I dont have are Pitf and GTC.
Looking forward to TBF with a 'new' engine. |

Hey CavScout. Good to see you round again. Not seen you since the Afrika 40-41 days.
Had a crack at WoT but the lag killed the enjoyment. Game is still going well in its many incantations. |

Mats, I have had a few beers with him before and I know his favourite watering hole. It's a well kept secret and not actually that far from where they filmed LOTR either, in fact it's just a stagger stagger crawl crawl slip fall getup stagger stagger down the road with the three centre lines..or just a short cab ride back to his place in the side of the hill where the cabbie and him laugh at your Aussie accent...fish and chips/fush n chups, tomato/tomatoe. |

The old Soviet Anthem and the Russian Anthem are the best and the most stirring in national pride IMO.

Nice shot Mats! Blew him to smithereens, left nothing but a smoking hole in the ground.
Firefox. You would prefer sprites to be seen to move over an elevated image? Is that a prefered option you are saying?
The problem I see here is that there is a wreck in the middle of the road that cannot be seen that could in fact hinder pathing without the players knowledge.
Question. If a vehicle is destroyed half in and half out of an image (building) with an .rfm file is the wreck shown or not? From what I recall the wreck is shown and the .rfm is activated. Yes/no?
Question: Should wrecks activate .rfm files? I say yes.
Mats destroyed vehicle must have fitted excatly into the .rfm cutout for it to do that. What are the odds? |
