Well, as a Romanian, I have to agree with you.

So I agree with you that a man of honour must keep his word and respect his agreements. What I wanted to say was that before one is about to start something (a war for example), he must know and respect the other's opinions who might be involved in his business at some point and not when he is in trouble. This is called diplomacy, which must precede the voice of the guns, in my opinion. But maybe I'm wrong. Embarassed

He who starts a war, he must end it and not to throw the burden on his comrade's shoulders to repair his faults; isn't this a matter of honour also? When you prepare for war, first of all you must make yourself sure you can afford it by yourself. When in defense, well that's another story; remember, people support each other in bad times, that means when they are threatened, not when they threaten other people. So, let's try to see the pacifist point of view also. Afghanistan and Irak are simply business and have nothing to do with honour. Romanian soldiers died there too and I'm not happy about it; like Germany, Romania hasn't problems with muslims YET, we have a large number of muslims who live in perfect harmony with the Romanian majority, from the Middle Age, when they came. So, I'm afraid too, not to spoil the relaxed relationship with our muslim community - they are nice people and suffered along with us, in bitter times; but when you're in a band you must obey the rules (it's a matter of honour) and Romania sent troops in Afghanistan consequently. So, Polemarchos, if no German soldier has died yet and the German troops are in a safe place, you must be happy that your boys are kept far from troubles.

I suggest you to download it as an image using eDonkey. I admit it is not a very orthodox Twisted Evil manner to get it, but it's an option (free from any headache Very Happy).

I want to be in too. Actually I've already made some minor changes in CC3 Real Romanians, regarding music: I've put a fragment of the song Ciuleandra, sang by Maria Tanase as the main song and a part of the Romanian Royal Anthem, as the winning song when playing as Romanians. Both songs give the game a special flavour Smile.

Protect guns with HMG set on defend. Regarding jeeps or any light vehicles, I usually hide, or send them to hide as fast as possible. A good thing is to use smoke screen from the very beginning until the vehicles find their hidding places. I play with Italians and I can tell you they have almost no armor, but they have some artilery. So spy the opponent and choose the right equipement. Use scouts for spotting the enemy artillery pieces, after that use your artillery, HMG and mortars to destroy enemy guns and afterwards clean the area with heavy infantry supported by armors. Placing artillery in the right places is not an easy task, but done in a clever way can lean the ballance in your favour regardless how many armor the enemy has.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
