Mooxe
I am very surprised they did not invite you to participate in the rerelease process.
Sounds like poor PR on their part.

Does such thing exist in nature?
I recall inquiring a year or so ago and was told running windows in parallel was the only way to get cc games on a mac.
There was a caviat - cc2 needs an emulator to run on modern macs.
Did anything change? Anyone know of a non-purchase/install new OS way of running cc games on a mac?
Have a nice day, David |

Its awesome. If you want to spend a little less money, you can fly a less famous plane, like the biplane waco for a lot less. |

Modders and Historians.
If anyone is looking for data on Soviet(and a little German) actions/statistics, for their mod or research, let me know.
I have good access to archival material. Most fall into one of these categories: combat journals(kept "live" in units), recon reports, statistical summaries, losses. Some armor specific material, like damage analysis on friendly/enemy tanks, tank test reports, etc.
I am looking forward to publishing this material. If you can help me use this date, perhaps analyzing it together with german sources, I am looking for that too.

Hey guys,
One question doh.. is there an overal tool to look at tank specs, like armor or infantry weapons specs and information about them.. for the close combat games? I can read about those weapons in real life back then on the net.. but I'm not sure of these specs are also accurate in the game. Just asking, because i wanna know all about it.. for example in the gjs mod 4.4:
|
I recall a tool for cc games that showed a silouhette of a tank and woulkd put the values of armor thickness. Much better than looking at two databases! I have not edited in years, so that's all i got for you. |

Two infantry men made it through entire sixteen scenarios(50-60 battles). One died at reichstag in Berlin, and the other got captured... Allied armor was a lot of fun - Churchill's were my favorite. It seemed that tanks were less "all knowing" than some other campaigns i played. I liked that. Infantry in the house should not be "seen" by tankers unless they do something or enemy infantry spots them.
Question: are there some Grand Campagins - many scenarios that i can load as a plugin for real red or panzerjager? |

I need some input, preferably from someone who uses CC2 on a new mac. I tried sheepsfoot but it requires roms. Anyone have the needed roms? Other alternative that don't require stuff, and just let me play the game? |

I worked on an update for Close Combat 5 Red Storm Rising in 2008, including more realistic weapon properties. Makes game more fun, in my opinion with accurate and deadly sniper rifles, single shot M16's, smoke dischargers on many vehicles, BMPs with soldiers in them.... It was never released. I am thinking of revisiting this project, and need a someone to package it into a plug in, so we can release it. |

This is from this past weekend, a hike in western mass. A lot of streams due to recent rainfall. On photos a stream and a view from a fire tower on top of a mountain. I took M9 bayonet out to play with it. Its a nice field knife! |

You left a few out. Poland 1919, Germany 1941. And you may want to get some dates and facts straight on the ones you've mentioned. |

Good to hear opinions of those living with government run healthcare.
Every truth is first ridiculed, violently opposed, and then excepted as self evident. |
