Yeah, that helped.
But now when I try to start the game it says "The CC3 CD ROM was not detected".
Do you have a fix for that too? |

They exist and are located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\CC3 Config\System\Packages\1945
And here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Close Combat 3\Data\BASE |

Sadly I get the same result.
I got the game from GOG with the patch already installed - could that explain it? |

Thank you.
I will try it out.
So it does not matter where I install CC3? |

I have also just returned to CC, but I am having trouble getting the mods installed.
I have no problem installing the configuration manager, but when I try to load a mod I get an error.
Does the game have to be in a specific folder for it to work?

No worries, I found the solution:
I am playing on a laptop with both an on board gfx card and a dedicated gfx card.
I normally use the dedicated card, but apparently CC5 cant handle that.
Switching to the on board gfx card did the trick, and the games works perfectly now. |

I recently dug up me CC5 game (from ssi), but it I having trouble running it on my current OS (Windows 7)
The game and mods loads fine, but when the battles starts the games lags badly making it impossible to play.
Anyone knows if this can be fixed? |
