PostForum: Modding Workshop   Posted: Sun Nov 21, 2021 10:42 pm   Subject: Program to create 16-bit TGAs for CC3.
Hello again everyone. I've started trying to edit the tank/vehicle graphics in CC3, and I've come across a problem. While I can extract the files just fine via RtBTool, my usual image editing program (Paint.net) appears to be unable to save TGA files in the 16 bit format necessary for RtBTool to rebuild them. What is the recommended program for working with/creating these images?

Thanks in advance.

Okay, good to know. Now I just have to find the Soldier Color Editor. I didn't see it in the Toolbox area of the downloads page, and I tried getting on an archived version of CplFilths page, but that didn't work out either.

Afternoon, everyone. Nice to meet all of you. My first post is just a simple question.

I'm looking to begin creating mods for CC3 and COI, and have spent the past few days getting acquainted with the tools and documentation available to do this
I was looking through CC3's Soldier and SoldierB sprite files after extracting them via CC2Spriter, and unless I wasn't paying enough attention it appears that by default both sides use the same sprite files, just recolored via the settings within CC3's exe. Is this correct? Am I close? Completely wrong? Perhaps I just wasn't looking hard enough?

Once again, nice to meet all of you!

EDIT: On a related note, where can I find the tools needed to modify the soldier's uniforms color values in CC3? I didn't see it in the toolbox, but I maybe just missed it.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
