Hello Schrecken. As you probably know I'm new here and am trying to mod the CC2:LSA maps for CCIII:Cross of Iron  and CC5:Invasion Normandy.  I've spent a better part of three hours fudging around with the programs you recommended in another post to me. All I managed to accomplish is get a headache.

Right now I'll settle for increasing the BG slots in CC2:LSA to 15 as shown above.

I tried using excel in delimited format to change the numbers as indicated in your jpg but it seems that the lines do not match up in my fpools.txt compared to yours.

For example, my line 2 is your line 3. It does not show the 10 like you have on the first column nor the 4 following in the next.

Mines starts out with 64 at line 2.

Can you upload your fpools.txt file for CC2:LSA?
Thanks,

Thanks.

I am playing a couple of the ones I like though. I guess I'll find out soon enough which ones will crash the game.

Gotta tell ya though, I am enjoying this....

Recently I downloaded and installed Nomada's A Bridge Too Far CC2 mod into CC5:Invasion Normandy in order to play the old ABTF game.

I liked it so much that I thought about using the maps in CCIII:Cross of Iron.

I copy pasted the maps from the newly created A Bridge Too Far game into the CCIII:Cross of Iron map directory. Went into Battlemaker and made several new scenarios.

You can rename the maps or leave them as Nomada named them (MAP100, Map101, etc). Interesting part is, I can select the victory locations and add barrage, which is what I wanted.

(I still haven't figured out how to resize or re-code the New Matrix CC2:LSA maps for use in either of the new Matrix CCIII:CROSS OF IRON or CC5:INVASION NORMANDY). As soon as I do, I will be replacing Nomada's CC2 ABTF maps with the nicer graphics from CC2:LSA.

Will post progress.

Hey there. Great job with the mods for ABTF to CC5 maps. I downloaded your maps and installed 2 nights ago. The old maps from ABTF a neat but the LSA map graphics are much better.

I just posted asking for help how to recode the LSA maps for usage in CC5 and CCIII - Cross of Iron,. as I am clueless as to what to do but will try if no one is willing to recode them.

Could you give me some pointers as to how to go about doing this?

Thanks

Hello guys new here. I mess around with my CC games from time to time and lately I've been trying to find out how to recode LSA maps to use them with CC5-Mattel Version or CCIII-Cross of Iron.

I am willing to give it a try, but I would not know the first thing about going about it. What files to work on, how to work on them, etc.

I recently downloaded the "OLDER- A Bridge Too Far" converted  maps to CC5 and enjoy using the maps, but the newer version in LSA have superior graphics and I would rather use them instead if possible.

If you could direct me to a topic section with the info on how to go about it, it would be most helpful. If not, maybe someone might guide me in a step by step fashion as to what I need to do.

Anyhow, any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
