No. I mean the original from 2000. Invasion Normandy. I haven't gotten the chance to play the Longest Day.

Like I said, I am only just now getting the chance to play Russian Front, Battle of the Bulge and Invasion Normandy!

After having played CC1 & 2 for years. I have finally gotten the chance to play 3, 4, and 5.

3 is pretty solid and it's fun to play with/vs the Russians. 4 I didn't enjoy. BUT 5 is great.

CC5 has everything I look for in a CC game and the improved troop movement to location area is great!!!

I created this thread for pure CC5 praise and if anyone has any knowledge they would like to spread for playing CC5, Thanks!

Way cool. Did you write these? I will be looking through the CCI timeline soon! There is good pictures on that post, I would like to see more pictures from the short period that occupied CCI. A time forgotten and people long forgotten.

Awesome this has successfully worked great on Windows 8 using mooxe's steps.

I suppose this will work for some of the other CC2 mods?

Thanks for everyone's time into making and helping me with this mod!

You have to use the easy setup download for CCI though. You'll install it as regular but when you try to play the game you have to click the ISO, the autorun can't connect. Once, you do all this it works great!

I used this site for a number of downloads including CCI, FFVIII and Civil War Generals II. CCI works great! I haven't tried the others yet...

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
