It says that that the 1st gun attached to the vehicle's chassi has ammo that it can't use. Vehicle 0 is the vehicle's "ID" number and refers to the index number in the Vehice file. mount 0 means that all guns attached here are mounted on the chassi, mount 1 means guns attached to the turret. Gun 0 means the first gun out of 3 (numbered 0-2) that can be attached to the mount. Ammo 0 is AP shells, 1 is HE shells, 2 is HEAT, 3 is smoke and 4 is Special ammo.
All these numbers merely serves as indicators where the problem is.
Hope this helps. |

Oi Mayer! I had the same problems too, but I got everything working in the end. Just to be sure check the install path of CC5 in run/regedit /or whatever it's called). ´ Other than that make sure you run CC5 Configmanager in admin mode and try different compability modes.
I installed my CC5 to the C:Program Files (x86) folder and configured the register to show the real install path. After that I ran manager in admin and everything worked fine.
I hope you get it working. |

Alright, got CC5 working now. Rather emberassing, but all you had to do was to NOT open CCstarter in adminmode. When it starts CC5 OS asks if it's ok to start it. Just Hit ok and everything was ok. |

Actually...you don't even need the CC Starter Util if you're running Win7.
|
I had to, otherwise the game froze in a blackscreen when launched on my Win 7 64-bit Pro. Couldn't do anything but poweroff the PC. Although with the CC starter I still get DirectDraw error. Any tips? |

Pzt_Kanov, you make it sound real easy Although I have no idea to make that flag in data etc etc. Could you make a step by step toturial
I was thinking of using IR equipment to IR Panthers and "Vampire" Stg44s. Yes, they both were used in small scale during 1945 along with IR equiped Sd.Kfz 251s.
And according to combat reports IR Panthers were very effective but were vulnerable to flank/rear attacks by AT infantry. Therefore pzgrenadiers with "Vampire" Stg44s rode on the engine space of the Panthers to protect them from infantry. |

I wonder if there is ANY possibility implementing this piece of technology into LSA or TLD? It would basicly (CC speakingly) give IR equipped teams/vehicles perfect LOS during nightbattles. Could it be possible to add this feature somehow? |

Yepp they work fine here too. Altough the minimap in LSA is screwed up, but maybe it is fixed in a patch? Haven't installed them yet. |

Just some old fashion swedish gibberish.
I don't know if Win 7 is the problem, I have seen (or rather red) that others can play CC5 just fine on Win 7 Home edition...Im begining to wonder if my graphic card is a bit odd? Or maybe Win 7 Pro doesn't cut it with CC? |

I have done some checking by pressing START, RUN and typing Cmd and then dxdiag. And in the Diagnostictool for DirectX box i go to the Displaytab and sees that DirectDraw-accelaration is active but there is NO button to switch it off/on. Also missing is the boxes Direct3D-acceleration and AGP-acceleration.
using CC Starter again I select Disable DD and activate it again when quitting CC5. I also select win 95/98 compability. I enter the game and tab down to CC Starter and it says that DD is still enabled. Hmmm....

I installed CC5 on my Win 7 (64-bit) without problems, but when I launch it I end up with a black screen and total freeze. Can't even tab down to desktop or start Task Manager. Any tips?
Must the game be installed in the Program Files(x86) folder to work? |

Yes, im off topic, so I'll shut up now. Just a few more things:
Some explination of the unclear numbers of dead kulaks (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kulaks) "The overwhelming majority of kulaks executed and imprisoned were male, but precise numbers are somewhat difficult to obtain. Many historians consider the great famine a result of the "liquidation of the kulaks as a class," which complicates the estimation of death tolls. A wide range of death tolls has been suggested, from as many as 60 million suggested by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn to as few as 700,000 by Soviet news sources"

Stalin was responsible for the deaths of about 30 million soviet nationals (deliberate starvation and excecution of anti-soviet elements) during his time
where did you get these numbers from?
|
From different online sources, books and documentrys. But i must confess that the "excact" numbers are unclear, which ranges from 9-30 million.

as well as the deportion and excecution of Jews, intellectuals, ethnic groups like different cossack tribes, estonians, finns, georgians and those who activly practiced different religion like buddishm.
wtf? are you serious?
|
Yes Im serious. The NKVD hunted down Jews as well as Intellectuals for roughly the same reasons the Nazis did. Perhaps the Soviet Union didn't kill so many of these unfortunate, but they did deport a huge amount of people to Siberia and the Gulags there. The cossacks and the baltic-states were the ones who were hit hardest by the NKVD nd for example Lithuania got about 20% of its populance deported to Siberia as cheap labour because they were "kolaks" (independat "rich" farmers). Religion in all was "forbidden" in the USSR, all churches and chapells were closed, but during the dark days of the Nazi invasion Stalin decided to open them to lift the spirit and morale of the people.
Btw, i think the Katyn massacre is a good example. Around 200 Polish officers executed because they could be trouble in the future.
