Damaged terrain and buildings would be, of course great.
It would turn to rubble and still be good for cover.
Picture city maps full of building being leveled! Have wood structures catch on fire or parts of forests...
Problem is I think that this game could not handle the coding for all this tuning up programming.
I would like to also see more smoke effects, as when a tank or gun fires. More smoke from granades, fires ect..
This is not just visual ehcances ,you could use the chaos of smoke and fire to cover your moves.
Anything done to improve on 1of the BEST games EVER made would be amazing. {but damn difficult to do!}

Hi there! I'm Kasta...I'm also a NAZI lover...well I love playing "Nazi" in CC !
Everyone has a right to believe what he wants, no matter what. Personally I know since the DAWN of time, wars have been fought. All have had slaughters done in them. It is the nature of men and the act of war. Very hard to be a nice guy in a war. War is about KILLING...everything, anything. You go nuts, you get to hate everything, anyone. No one is out of bounds. We have to admit to ourselfs this ugly truth about war! Rules? Are you _ucking kidding?
Damn right that acts of "horror" happen in wars. What's new
Now that said. I prefer my super CC games to the real thing. It is more...civilized.

Probably out of the scope of the CC engine,I would guess. At least we have alot of mods covering many battle areas.
Except for Italy? I think it would be a GREAT mod. The terrain challenges, the battle groups, would be epic!

Sounds like alot of fun. Thanks for getting a sound mod! Without a good sound mod you loose that "battle" atmosphere.

Just stopped playing this new mod after 10 hours, with a 12 minute brake for food and toilettage!
What an awesome job done on this new mod. The sounds, the maps, all very well done!!!
You guys are computer masters!!
If we meet one day I would be glad to buy you a steak dinner! {not shitting!}
I am sure that you are proud of this great work you people have done!
For sure modders FAR surpass paid programmers who are good in only "Get the job done"
Modders capture the "feel" the "soul" of the game of CC.
Can you say this for the paid pros?
After all the mods that I have down loaded from this SUPER site, I just had to say my thanks to all here!
Ok, back to BLASTING the enemy....

The teams are a bit boring. No nice recon teams. Not many different weapons  in teams also.
The main thing for me is they did a lame job on the sound files. Almost all Cannons sound the same. This game needs a good mod!

I also thought that I was the only one playing this great classic war game for many years. Until I stumbled on this GREAT support site with many loyal fans like us!
By the way, I am 45 years old...since I hit 49 this year! Shit it's too close to the BIG 5.0.

The sound mod now is not to bad. But a real good one makes such a difference in game play. You want to crank it up like it's a getto blaster.
Tanks all sound BORING. Cannon fire is same old sound for almost all types. Small arms also. This game has hope of becoming a real good cc version. But as it is now, it lacks on a few things.

Hi guys.
I have been playing RO + DH for about 1 month. Alot of fun.
Ok, there are the regular kiddies who go beserk and shoot anyone.
I think it would be great fun if we make a Close Combat team.
You have to be a CC member to join us!
With our superior tactics and team work I think we would be a tough match!
Most of the time the game play is, 1; throw a grenade real far
2;Start spraying the area in front of you with lead.
3: Do your kamkazi charge! killing 1 or 2 guys if your lucky!
4: 3 seconds later get shoot or blown away...as you hear your death scream!
I am sure if we do CC style of gameplay it would be really fun and effective!
Mooxe is already doing a site! It looks great.
We can't go wrong with a Mooxe site!
What do you guys think of a CC team on RO + DH?

Ok, I'm was not a MJ fan. But I did respect his talents. Yeah, until all the wierd stuff started to show up in the news about him! Now don't forget he was not PROVEN 100% guilty! Only 99%!
In any case he is now down and out for the count. Let's don't kick a man while he is down... and out! Ok, just a little doesn't hurt!
I will stick my neck out and show my respect for MJ without any jokes about him.
Believe me I know there are a TON!
So thanks MJ for your music, it helped me score with alot of girls back then!

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
