Hi, yes it was a CCIV mod, I think the forum is working again, I am sure you'll find loads of useful data. This mode however was focused on the Polish attack, it was I think the 3rd attempt (correct me if I am wrong) I helped them just a little bit by researching the Polish OOB (units, organization schemes, amount of equipment) Let me know if you'd like to see it.

Did you get my PM Mistmatz?
Couple questions first:
I presume we all agreed to play GJS is it? So w want to play GC, or some operation?? As for the settings I agree, but maybe we could play vet vs vet??

I only played h2h via ordinary tcp/udp connection, or using hamachi, never on GameSpy, but I think it won't be a problem. I'll just have to find the port numbers that GS uses, because I have a router, but thats not a srious problem.
As for Blackstump idea, i think its not bad, but could effect 'pace' of our campaign/operation. If more people are involved there's always bigger risk of somebody not being able to play/ give orders or something...
I personally think, that for educationla Very Happy purpose we should write AAR, and ask some more experienced players to point out our mistakes.. That would be good for us and all the people starting their close combat h2h adventure.
BTW great phot Blackstump, I only hope that the reason why he looks like that is not playing Close Combat Laughing

Hello I am a h2h noob as well, I would very much like to participate in this "Noob war". I would suggest playing GJS as from what i heard it tends to be most stable of all the mods for h2h.
I am very much looking forward to fight other unexperienced players
Cheers
BTW I played h2h something like 1/4 of GJS campaign so far (maybe 10 battles alltoegether) and so far I get my ass kicked.. One good thing is i dont have any problems with conecctions etc.

Hello
I had some strange problems playing h2h North Sector campaign, I played as the RKKA, and my killed tanks were each time back to the forcepool, i am not sure about other units, but it sure happened with tanks, any ideas??

Hello pzjager!

I really cant wait for the next part of Stalingrad. I am enjoying the first two mods very much. I was away from cc for quite a long time, i started playing it again lately, and I just cant stop... Its great that there's so many people willing to spend so much time to provide so much cc fun for mere players like myself.

Cheers and thank you pj

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
