PostForum: Close Combat Cross of Iron   Posted: Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:19 am   Subject: How requisition points management works
Hi to all.

I need to understand how the requisition points assignment mechanism works, to apply it as a home rule to a tabletop wargame in an operation / campaign perspective.

Let's say I have three maps and 4-5 days, one side attack and one side defend scenario.
How are points awarded each battle day?
I know there are points that are awarded to both sides when entering a new map, points that are awarded to each side each day, and points that are awarded to each side based on the outcome of the battle.
Anyone know better how it works?
Maybe this is a question for modder?

When right click on shell hole on "field" terrain, i cant read "shell hole" but only "field". In other terrain type it works correct, and i can read "shell hole".
I patched to 5.60.01b version.

First I must install "Western front v10"?

Is this the correct installation procedures?
- Western front v10
- BloodyOmaha_MMCC3_Client
- manual copy maps

I dont know  Sad , to me it work on winXP and win7 too. Are you see an error window, with the type of error?

Take a look in the games forum, or ask for the problem there to the developer Wink

I only quickly try it, but my first impression is good. It reminds me vaguely an army version of "Harpoon". Maybe "steel panther" is better, but this game is in real time.

Saluti

I have two question

The first. There are player? I tryed last year and only two times I found somebody to play.

The second. In "World War II online" there is a real time map in the homepage:
http://www.battlegroundeurope.com/
http://www.battlegroundeurope.com/index.php/campaign-community/campaign-map
Is possible put a time real map with player online and battles ongoing?

I think that massively online multiplayer campaign is a great thing, and maybe with some publicity and incentives the number of player increase. Maybe also something like the Hamachi day, or a subforum with plan stategy and operations orders for the two side.

As always sorry for bad english

What's happening Question

Some posts ago I wrote that I cant buy it. Then yes, I know that I cant buy or download it. I have a friend in Aviano's USA airbase, and I try it on my friend's computer. I think my friend may have it.
I'm interested in CCMAT, I don't moved from my friend to play it on his computer,
and my friend don't play CCMAT and he dont knows, then I ask here. I don't think that my curiosity threatens US national security Shocked . My curiosity concerns the game.

And what means "your IP has been looged" Question

ciao.

1) The game version must are the same for host and client
2) TLD could have problem with Hamachi. I cant connect to host using Hamachi too. So you first find a opponent on Hamachi rooms, verify that you and your oponent have the same version, then close Hamachi and Hamachi network (for this see here)
3) If your provider dont give you a public IP (like some UMTS/HSDPA, WiFi, FastWeb,... connections), you can only join to a game, but don't host a game.

CCM6?

Yesterday, from a friend, I try "Close Combat Marines Anti Terrorism Trainer" beta7 or 8 or 6, I dont remember. Is it called CCM6?

A question: I dont se the button to call air/arty support, but i see in this forum that there is this feature. So, do air/arty support work only with trigger? Or Can I chose when and where to use air/arty support like in CCMT/CC5/...?
I ask to my friend but he don't know.

I see, I can find the new features (like civilians, equipement chose, triggers,...) in later version of CCM. This morning i try CCM-AntiTerrorism (i dont remember wich version number), and I see the new features shown here.

So

CCM3.1 (with no new features) - public release
CCMAntiTerrorism (with new features) - private/Marines release, and I can't buy it

Is it right?

I read that in CCM there are civilians too. But I have CCM 3.1 and it seems CCMT, in it there aren't civilian. There are different version of CCM?

PS
CCM3.1 is elder than CCMT, so is CCMT better (more feature, unit, map, less bug) to play?

Thanks

Top of naval's simulators

- Dangerous Water - modern Naval Warfare focused on sub operation; you can command sub, ship, helo and airplane; advice two mod: AT3 (with new italian, russian, american, english,chinese,... unit) and Reinforce Alert mod (with new units, most simulation feature, nuke ammo,...) - For these mod and varius guides look at www.subsim.com

- Silent Hunter 3 + GWX3 mod - WW2 submarine simulation; you command german u-boot; essential GWX3 mod (3Gb mod!), becomes another game. For mod look at subsim.com.

- Harpoon series (Matrix Games, like CC) - obsolete graphic (the last two of the series was released on 2008), but the top of naval warfare simulation.
