Ive wonder is it hard to make maps? i recon it takes a lot of time

i believe it depends on how much detail, the size, and if it is a city or not.

It is hard yes,but just like "anything" else just start small and see if making maps is for you,
Hill here house there nothing special.

Then if you like it just work your way up.

Look in the CSO Map Making forums for textures to help get you on your way.
