I find it is best not to commit my tanks infront of my infantry untill the enemies AT are out of the way. Spot with your infantry and destroy AT guns with morter fire, and fire with your tanks from a distance. With your infantry, try to get a cross fire hapening. If you have ever played 'paint ball' and been caught in a cross fire, it causes suppression confusion and panic, then charge the area your attacking. It also depends greatly on the terian. There are a lot more if's and but's, but that is it in a net shell.
