hi ive just tryd to install cc5 on my computer im running windows vista and my cc2 wrks with no problem how can i get cc5 to work a box comes up saying "Program has stoped working

I have the same problem too....cc2 works well.......but cc4 does not.

I can install cc4 as normal but when I try to play it I get this same error as bellew: "program has stopped working, windows tries to find a solution blahblahblah......".

I've tried to run it in different compatibility modes, but it doesn't help. I guess it vista has something to do with it since I have it too......

Advice, anyone??

i have vista and it works in compatibility mode and also when u run it as an administrator

A good tip i got from schrecken was to open it with CTRL O so u get options window up and turn off videos.

Then it worked fine... apart from multi player arg!

Thanks for advice but I've already tried all those compatibility modes and running it as administrator.....but those things didn't help either.

I tried holding down ctrl+o while starting it but an options window didn't show up......perhaps I tried it at the wrong moment?

Hold down the CTRL while you launch the game.

Ok thanks.......problem solved. I just downloaded the cc4 patch from this site and now it works just fine. No problems at all anymore.......the AI doesn't seem to be very good though.
