I think everyone agrees that SOC is one of the most challenging and interesting mods out there. I've been enjoying reading the AARs, but now I'm wondering.....How is your SOC campaign?
Have you made it to Feb 2? Whats the farthest you've gotten?
A toast and a big congrats to those who've managed to survive till Feb. 2!!

Hi,
I am personaly on january 20th and the front is now deliquescing everywhere -except in the Stalingrad area, which is historical anyway...-
I personaly doubt to be able to survive until feb 2nd...
Just note that I am playing with the GerVet submod which is still not available for d/l.
In my first SOC campaign played with exactly the same mod than you, I went to the end and was able to save 4 maps in Stalingrad.

Hi friend,
Don't forget your wool shirt. And don't forget to update the CC community about your current situation. I remember you choosed a very special option right by the beginning, and we really would like to know the outcome.
Last thing: within some time, SDK will be upgraded and I would really like to welcome you in the (very narrow) testing team.
SDK with SDK:DK will really be SOC, less disfficult but, just for this reason, more acceptable for many of us. AI will be the SOC one, with "just" some more ammo... and surprises

I have just one more battle to end the 3rd Day/1st Rd, I'll update the situation as soon as I finish. On the testing- I would love to help you
out in any way possible. Cheers, Greg

Blow son, blow. Don't worry about it. I for one would love to see your
progress.
I'm playing 3 different people in the Pzt clan all with varying results. In the first (my AAR) the player is very conservative which thankfully has allowed me too stall his advance. (Although he's targeting all my AT guns & tanks Specifically with artillery). Another has just gone all out and come out of his corner flailing his arms coming at me with everything he's got. He's overwhelmed me on a couple maps but I've been able to push him off of a few.
The 3rd is a mix between the 2. Strong offense, but knows when to hold back. After 2 turns, my southeastern front has all but collapsed. Hopefully I'll be able to make it up in other areas.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
