just down loaded BO mod and tryd a few maps,great mod,real nice maps,lots of work obviously has gone in to it,just 1 small thing,the sound its totally over the top,all that running of boots and panting?!? the shot men SCREAMING in agony, the sound the tanks make when firing is like anzio annie going off then u get that metalic sound of a saucer spinnning(somethink like that anyway) every time a single rifle fires its you get the shot sound,wich is like an elephant gun firing,then the reload crunching sound.

theres so much noise going on that you ,cant keep up with action,sorry for the rant this would be a great mod but me and showudas tryd to play a head to head cmpaign but gave up after only a few maps beacause we found it unplayable purely because of the sound and weve played quite a few g.c together.

any sound mods out there for the latest version?

sorry once again for the moan no offence intended.

I don't think it has been updated in a while but it might be compatible as the last couple BO releases really just fixed bugs...

Did you actually try it?

Based on the change log for v1.3 the sound mod should work as the weapons.adb file was not changed.


CHANGES/FIXES in v1.3 From v1.2 - in Jan./Feb./Mar. 2005 & Sept. 2006:
1) Changed D3 map VL's; "none" to "Maison" and "to St-Laurent-s-Mer" to "route secondaire: for the dirt road west (D3.btd)
2) Changed Exit1 map; rotated all VL's 1 spot clock wise to line up better with the strat map (Exit.btd)
3) Changed US Soldier in the 4.2CM mortar team from weapon 43 "Walther P38" to 6 "M1 Carbine" (Soldier.adb)
4) Fixed Stlaurnt map as 2 VL's showed on the mini map that were not supposed to be there (Stlaurnt.btd)
5) Fixed German Opel 3.7cm FlaK by adding a new wreck to use instead of the US M3 wreck (Vehicles.adb and Wrecks.azp)
6) Fixed US Vehicle #49 M20 AC Gun 2 Fire Angle changed to 255=360 degrees (Vehicles.adb)
7) Changed/recalculated vehicle "Best Mount", "Best Gun" and "Best Kill" ratings (Vehicles.adb)
Cool Changed/Fixed the ammo count. Thanks Senior Drill for the CC5 Data Workbook. (Alteams.adb, Geteams.adb and Soldiers.adb)

Trogers soundmod updated to version 1.1 so it has support for Bloody Omaha v 1.3


Changed the depends on line to include 1.3

please try it out and report any errors.

this is a very long time since i looked up BO mod, thx for links but when i down load file it says its v 10 not v1.1,down loaded anyway and tryd,but will not work with v1.3 omaha.pity..
