Would it be possible to get Ebro2.0 updated into the mod download section here in CCS? My Spanish is good enough to read through Clannomada's updates and understand that there are a number of changes that have been incorporated into this revision of the Ebro Mod. But I think there are a number of non-Spanish speaking players who might be interested in knowing that there is an update out there for this mod.

I will drop a similar note in clannomada's site making such a request.

Merry Christmas all.

Dnld and tested it yesterday. Most issues seems to be corrected. Found some minor flaws like Hotchkiss HMG carrying comissars (for motivating republicnas from the rear?). Infantry survivability seems to be increased, at least arty strike are lessened in effectiveness. Tanks and ACs are still present, but rarely appears on AI-Side (National) making this mod a truly Infantry-tactical, which I like much. Also SMGs are reduced, especially on the republican side, making it more historical accurate. Uniform colours are not that different, along the International Brigades one would expect more diverse outfits like the obligatory blue workers overall. Something wich can be easily done with the appropiate tool. The wonderful maps sometimes have trench lines, but they could need a bit more tuning in the elements.txt, to force the soldiers to use them better.
It really makes fun to play, but against AI a vet mod with SOC-Infantry-aggressiveness would be cool. In all the first finished pre-WWII Mod for CCV! Any anglophone spaniard Tlike to translate those mapinfos? thumbs up!

Hi

I'm playig the Ebro 2.0 GC and i needed a strategic map for me AAR so here it is

http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ebrojt4.jpg

I dont know how to upload it into strategic map section so... work for someone else Wink

Kevin Wink here it's.

And... i think that there are not important tranlatations into spanish but the sounds and the never read map briefings. Another words are very easy to understand: assault = asalto, infantry = infantería...

I had not crash or bugs in my GC till now... so enjoy the mod.

dehm

pd: Thanks Nomadas!!! Rolling Eyes

I completed a Movement Map for the Ebro Strat Map. I believe I marked every blocked route and one way road. If you happen to spot one that I missed then let me know.

I know this mod is not very popular one, especially with WAR out now. But still I think there a few guys interested in this theme. I noticed that KLeist planned to make a uniform mod and Ifni was making a Realistic Weapons Artwork submod, too.
So my question is:: can we expect some news to Firefox´ et al fabulous mod?

Maybe the moderators can collect all mod relevant thread in a new Ebro mod category?

cheers
