I did not find any trace in the forcepools of the Churchills of the 31st Tank Brigade that took part in Epsom.
They were included in the original GJS 15th div BGs. From a (Total) realism point of view, they should indeed be present. Any idea why they were left out?

Hi Moss,

I maybe wrong as its some time since I played the GC of this mod, but if I remember correctly the Churchills of 31st Tank Bde appear when you reinforce after the 20th June.

If you reinforce before this date they will not be available.

However I'm not sure if they are given to the 15th Scottish Div or the 43rd Wessex, as I say its some time since I played this, but it might be worth checking this out.

If anyone is interested in the use of Churchills in Normandy check out the 9th RTR site below:-

Cheers

Below is an overview of the TRSM v097 forcepool file.
I rechecked... but no Churchills to be seen. Strange.

Ronson, could it be that you saw them in regular GJS?

Yes I couldn't see them in that doc. either, maybe I was thinking of another version or possibly straight GJS.

I honestly thought they were included in TRSM, the FP's in it are generally more historical than the previous mod. As you rightly state both 7 & 9 RTR were in action during the Epsom operation.

Best person to solve this would be Dima who created this mod.

Cheers
Ronson

Cool link Ronson

Moss
As Dima hasnt answerd, but Im not really into the TRSM train of thoughts when come to Fp.. So take my answer... as it is..
Well, anyway, there are 4 BGs, that get churchills at the 15th, and they are the once in the attachment.
Some Bg has wrong icon and wrong name, and the dual use of BGs before after reinforce ofcose, cant do much about that.
As example You probly noticed that the 129/43 is a Pz BG though icon say.... Same goes for Ge, or if that ok in 097, hm cant remember...

Anyway hope the attachement answer your question, and remember only play at "Elite-Elite" setting, that the only one that has the correct BGs.

(edit: I trie to make better grapix side by side view)

MossOrleni,

As Stalky shown, Churchills appear only when u reinforce 43 and 49 IDs on or after June 21st.

Anyway, thanx for your questions - allowed me spotting some mistakes Smile.

Indeed, 15th ID should have Churchills as well - will be in new ver.

Yeah, Ronson, thanx for the link.

I always find this information very useful but never know where to access it easily. I would love to know the dates that such advanced troops/tanks become available and what they are comprised of. For me its just a guessing game because I never know. Though honestly no one ever sticks around past 4th or 5th day of a GC anyway.
