I know there is a way to get this to work, I keep getting a crash when it tries to load AlsTeams.txt. I have Java virtual machine installed, etc.

Anyone have some input?

AlsTeams.txt? Are you trying to edit CCWAR or CCTLD FPs? Use Excel or the workbooks.
BGEdit only works for adb files...for CC4/CC5.

I'm playing CC5 with the GJS mod installed. BGEdit does work on my XP machine, can't remember what I tweaked though :(

Opening the files in Excel gives me gibberish

BTW if I open them in Word OR Excel I get a bunch of gibberish webdings ???

Okay...that would be AlsTeams.adb then...not txt.
Make sure you have the right version of Java Virtual Machine installed.
