The new patch, create a new problem, if we install it, we can play BO mod but we must uninstall vetbob mod.
Any solution?
I do not want to fill all my HD with CC games

You don't need to uninstall anything.

Just wait for a 10b patch update for your games or do it yourself.

edit fpools.txt and copy all the ccimages, gamegadgets and screen gadgets from 07 to 10b files of the same name by extacting them with gadgetrmunger then copy and paste.

Should take you less than 2 hours each mod.

hint... this will also make them compatible with tLD

thanks michael, let us know when they are done

Well since I just WASTED what little Data I have available downloading firefox's latest Mod and it crash's to desktop as soon as it loads I guess I will give this a whirl.

I'm gonna do this from scratch as I don't have his older version anymore.
care to be more specific as to what I need to do?
And how do I get the Uniform colors from VetBoB into WAR?
And is there a updated workbook available that goes with the last patch to WAR?

thanks.

And thanks to firefox, that one really pissed me off,

Use Mafi's latest RtBTool to extract the uniform colors from the exe into WAR uniforms.txt.

Hello,
I need some help understanding why my American Tank soldiers are coming up with German SS uniform patches.
And why some soldiers only have a small purple dot instead of a uniform patch.

And could someone please send me the txt files from the sub plugins for VetBoB?
For some reason I don't seem to have that anymore.

This would be the extra plugins that makes the mod very hard to play against the AI
I need both sets of .txt file too please.
Playing as Allies and Playing as Axis.
I would like to incorporate those into the different settings.

Thanks

Also in the workbook it states under Style (Col J) that..............

From the Soldiers.txt Style column.  This determines the soldier_action animation series from the \Graphics\Soldier file used for the team type and sets the uniform color coded in the .Exe.  Range = 0- 17.

I cant seem to locate the "Soldiers Style" col. under the Soldiers page.

I can get the uniforms txt from VetBoB.exe ok as there is only one to choose from and the format is simple but I do not understand how to extract them from WAR.

Can someone help guide me through this?

Your not the only one toughing it out these days, trust me.

Glad to see your still playing the old BoB

I've been putting his Mod into WAR and am playing a GC that so far plays fairly well.
I still need to work out a few things but i think over all it plays like his did.
Wont be exactly the same but I think once it's done a few people might like it.

Wouldn't mind picking your brain on some things if your ever interested?
