Thanks a lot for the continued support and update, Mafi!
And of course...the best way to use the mighty 5CC is with a dual display setup Wink

Hi to all,

there were some bugs to be fixed:

new version online,
see http://www.ftf.claranet.de/

v1.12 - debuggings:
- Roof Inspector window: corrected data filling when switching to roof.
- Roof file reading: now interpreting white pixels separately for CC3-5.
- Roof graphics will now show up with white as transparency even in 32-bit.
- Roof editing: when creating cutouts to be defined as roofs, the actually highlighted roof will be deselected now to allow cutout mask painting.
- Preferences>Layers: changes to the radiobuttons "coloring effect" will have immediate effect within the editor window.
- Preferences>Colors: pressing the button "Apply changes" will now have immediate effect to the menubar entries and the editor window's coloring.
- Preferences>General: added popupmenu to select the color depth for exporting graphics to the clipboard. Should be 16-bit on PPC-Macs.

Cheers

Hi Platoon_Michael,

elements conversion is task of the old, beloved CC2Tools.exe. Setup a conversion table of your own. It should be similiar to this one posted by Schrecken:
http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=8316

I did not expected that such an old thread would be reopened, so I'm sorry for the late answer. JFYI: public current version of 5CC is 1.15:

Hi Edward,
5CC works with any CC-Installation since CC2. But you must setup your own elements-file and other preferences. The 5CC-manual is more than 50 pages...
Cheers

The easiest way is to Use the maps from your classic CCiV folder... I'm sure they are converted.  Ok they are not...you get the Classic CC4 feel.

But I also posted a bunch of comverted txtx files on this forum... have to search to find it... might have been CCMT.

Schrecken,

They should be somewhere in the CCMT Forum.

They probably work for WAR.

Here they are again.

I also have a CC4 to CCMT, CC2 tools translation table, which would also work, I think.

Yep that's them

They will work for WaR

I think only the Very Large (4 part) Conifers will need a little work on coding.... not many of them though

Thanks for the help.

Any idea what size a map needs to be in WAR to not get the old looking 800x600 pixels effect while playing?

It would most probably depend on what resolution you monitor is.
