hi dima and OMG teammembers,
Bgs composition I found till now.
GERMANS:
Order of battle: (17sept.1944)
II. SS Panerkorps(Bittrich)
9. SS Hohenstaufen (Standartenführer Walter Harzer)
force End Aug 1944: 460 Soldiers 25 Tanks
aproximatelly Force in the Area around Arnheim 17.Sept:
3500-4000 Men out of 15,898, with sth around 25 Tanks
+ some tanks from Frundsberg(but only for first few days)
10.SS-Panzerjäger-Abteilung (destroyed at Failaise)
10.SS-Flak-Abteilung (released from duty)
material given away to other regiments of 10th SS
10.SS-Pioneer-Abteilung (destroyed)
the few soldiers left in this unit were given to 10.SS PzReg22 / later to Kg von Tettau
10.SS-Panzer-Nachrichten-Abteilung (just staff, thinned out by recruiting Alarm-units) 10th SS Divisional Support Units (just staff/drivers, thinned out by recruiting Alarm-units)
Tanks:
9-10 Panzer Ivf2 /parts given to Hohenstaufen, since combination of
the remnants of the 2 division commenced, due to lack of armoured
vehicles, both divisions borrowed tanks from each other, until
506 Schwere Kompanie arrived)[b]
approx. 150 men of collaborating Local police/fashists
armory: Mainly remnants of Dutch Army(British rifles/Vinkers MG /
Dunkirque material, older german equipment mainly K98 and some MG 34)

Very detail information my friend. Maybe an odd question but i presume seen the fact you have contact with other archive staff in germany you might be able to dig up commander pictures and maybe even maps an aerials as i'm desperate to find them (not only for omg but also The scheldt mod)

i try to get some pictures of the commanders - problem with OMG will be that most of the units were "Kampfgruppen" or mixed/adhoc battallions, so that the commanders pictures will be a search for a needle in a stockpile of nails - but i ll do my best...
Aerials:
german air-recon wasnt that sophisticated around 1944... But the british side took millions of pictures of the area in order to prepare their troops and airmen as good as possible. The imperial war musem in london published all the aerials last summer(there were free to watch then) but now i think they need a fee or a registration to access them online...
I you manage to be granted access, all your ma problems should be solved...

Would be very cool if you would do that for me. i can really use such a link seen the fact that an aerial her in the netherlands costs me about 50 euro per shot an then you even have to hope if its the right one

that guy (gefreiter) was there so, book reasearch isnt obsolete but halfbacked somehow...(my stats differ, but do that only slightly)
Problem of the books i used, is that they are originals and in original books Wehrmacht officials often give the number divisions should really have, but not the ones they definately had in reality(due to semi-propaganda)....
i dont know which ones are the more accurate ones, although I think my research was comprehensive on the II.SS panzerkops...
you modders shall decide, i just offer info
(well in between there is the truth, but you never know)

PS.....also do you know what kind of equipment the Pioneer Lehr battalion 9 from Glogau had at arnhem?? they were assault pioneers that were brought in, and im having prblems finding out what kind of equipment they had.
