Hello mellenthin,

Textures? For sure the CC5-map makers used textures to make the graphics backgrounds. Perhaps in size of 100x100 pixels, to be used in Photoshop. You can try to rebuild them by "taking" them from existing maps. Export of map background graphics from existing maps can be done by 5CC.exe or CC2Tools.exe.

In case you mean the file "Terrain": use the tool "CC2Spriter.exe" to extract and repack the Terrain-files of CC2/3/4/5/M/MT/RtB/CoI/WaR/TLD/LSA.
Those textures are always encoded as 16-bit graphics.
Download the tool via:
http://www.ftf.claranet.de/ , latest version is v2.95. The ZIP contains also some manuals...

Cheers
Mafi

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
