I just finished a short operation, the standard Jupiter Operation. We played with no initiative and 30 minute battles.

Nobody won, cause we decided to stop 4 days into the operation. Losses has been fairly high on both sides. My 43th Wessex has taken considerably losses, after having fought the 12. SS for some days. For instance, in the 214/43 I have no vehicles left and only 3 guns. No assault teams and MMGs. However, all these casualties were not in vain, cause as Monty put it, we are doing this for the Americans, so they can perform their break out, as easy as possible.

The III.25/12.SS has been cut off since the führer ordered it to counter attack against all odds. Even though it was cut off it still managed to push my 43th Wessex so much back, that I eventually had to withdraw it from Eterville. Some hard fightings took place here. I lost more than 20 tanks and other armoured vehicles here, not to mention all the infantry. Those deadly Tiger Tanks just didn't want to give up.

Two images from the last part of this h2h operation. As you can see I'm moving my battered Wessex BG out and a Tank BG in.

The game seemed to be in my favour, however, it has to be said that in the most southern map, Hill 112 - Orne Brigde, my attempts had been severely stalled, and even though those Tigers had problems moving around they still kept taking out my tanks and infantry. Actually two of my BGs are ready for a reinforce.
