Dont think the turret was turned.

It could be the game engine thought it was?

DEM Twisted Evil N  Shocked (not sure what this means)

We actually have had a few occasions where a tank or at-gun (57) has fired in another direction than the gun pointed, however, as I recall I have only experienced this with the player I play this operation with.

Anyhow, it was a strange situation.

There is a random built into the game so when A hits B there is allways a chance! to take into account tanks have weak spots, view slots ect.

The best Target is the one you just Hit!

I believe tigercub is right, as long as the unit will fire and hits another there is a small chance of damage or a kill....

Cool

Dima, when look at the attached image, it see that the Sherman are not using AP but SP munition..
What preformance on the SP?

/S
In the Gateway to Caen Abs the 6pdr has AP and Special columns. The Special penetration entry in milimetres is much greater than the AP one. Yet there is no entry in the HEAT column.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
