Will the German BGs get replacements in TRSM 982, when playing any standard operation? Like a gun, a mortar or a couple of rifle teams?
I'm playing the "Exploring the gap", operation in a h2h game, as Germans, and my BGs are getting depleted. I know I cannot reinforce, but what about the replacements, will there be some for the Germans, and does it require I pull out a BG for resting?

Ok. Thanks for the info. Hm, when playing Germany in this mod, you really need to be cautious not loosing units for nothing, cause although you might ambush and ambush the allied forces, with success, they just keep coming with more and more troops.
I have played operation Jupiter in TRSM 982, as allied, and that was hard, but not as hard as now, when I am playing German. Especially like when ending up in attretion battles, like this one on Tilly Sur Seulles, where I have managed to stop the allied players advance for 3 days, but at a high cost of infantry teams.
Is attacking at all reasonable in the long run, when playing the German side? I know local counter-attacks can be necessary, but attacking a foothold the allies eventually get on any given map, is that worth the cost in casualties? Is it worth trying to push the allies back?

Guess it depands what your possibilties are with that bg, if you have a panzer bg with a lot of tanks in it and you want to cut off a certain enemy bg i think it's worthwile.
You should just be carefull in strategic planning
Part of being a commander is knowing when to smile, make the troops happy
even if it is the last thing in the world you want to do
