Does such thing exist in nature?

I recall inquiring a year or so ago and was told running windows in parallel was the only way to get cc games on a mac.

There was a caviat - cc2 needs an emulator to run on modern macs.

Did anything change? Anyone know of a non-purchase/install new OS way of running cc games on a mac?

Have a nice day,
David

Same problem. I work with Mac and would like to play Close Combat again. With an emulator the performaces were terrible. Is there any way out of this situation?
I can't go back to Windows, company policy!

Thank you for any suggestions.

Not allowed to run Windows at work?  Never heard of such a company policy.  Is that because of virus issues or hacking?

Just get new Intel Mac with Bootcamp. Install on Windows partition. Run you Mac under Windows OS natively on the Mac and it works perfect.  But only the new Matrix re-release Close Combat games that are updated for XP or 7.  I had issues getting the original CC games to work properly.

Well, my reply comes a bit late, but better than never!
It's some kind of standardization inside the company.
Everything is Apple oriented. My boss is a fanatic of Apple.
Wouldn't be the smartest of moves to ask for a pc.......

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
