Hi all, i am an old player from the games, especially cc4 and cc5. Recently i had installed the games under windows 7, and i have a problem with the cursor on the map, it i scroll to others parts of the map, the cursor goes very fast and is a problem. I have put the option "slow scroll" but its the same.

Any solutions?

Thanks in advance!

Hi buddy.  Try the program CC_Starter to launch your Close Combat games.

Find it here:  CC_Starter (here at CCS)

Thanks for the tip mate!

I´ve been trying that program yesterday, it didn´t work with cc5, displays this error "cannot access surface for lock"
With cc4 it works, but it doesn´t fix the problem. I think it something with my graphic card, that cannot disable the direct draw

Thanks for all!

CC Starter does work with CC5, CC4, CC3 and CC2.  I use it all the time and it does alleviate the fast scrolling problem.  You might have to UPDATE your VIDEO DRIVER.  Also, be certain that you have the "DirectDraw Disable for Close Combat" box ticked in CC starter.  Smile
