Decided to go back and have a look at CC4. Using Win 7 64 bit. Everything seems fine except the scroll is not progressive no matter what I set it at. Just shoots of from one end to another. No change in compatibility mode.

This is a common issue with old releases, because contemporary CPUs are too fast, you would use something like a cpu killer.

Try the keyboard arrow keys instead of using the mouse at the edge of the screen.

You could try throwing 25 bucks at CC WAR. It has a CC4 Classic game included. Seems like scrolling works in that title.

But, you can use one of the small soldier mods with CC WAR. And you get over 100 Bulge maps. And you get the zero timer bug. Maybe they fixed that.

If you can afford GTC, then perhaps CC WAR too.  Idea

Thanks for the advice, it is better with the arrows, and I have a copy of WAR somewhere so I'll dig it out. Cheers.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
