The more I know about WWII, the more I see everybody is it only for themselves, and will form opportuntiy allegiances and discard all their principles if needed, and will twist the truth in their favour.

- The Polish helping the Germans destroy Czechoslovakia
- The British false flagging Hitler about the Polish (telling them a Polish attack on Germany was imminent), thus buying time for the Brits' own war preparations while Hitler diverted his troops to Poland.
- The British (bank of England) actually helping the nazis sell the Czech gold (that they stored in England for "safekeeping")
- The Russians waiting until the Germans were finished with leveling Warsaw, before 'liberating' it (the Polish hate them for this)
- The Katyn massacre, blamed on the barbaric Russians, but this could very well have been done by the Nazi's. Reading up on this one.
- The mysterious death of Polish general Sikorski (shot even by the British?)
- The allies downplaying the Dresden casualty number, till this day.
- The Americans gladly welcoming the 'most talented' nazi's during and after the war, well documented.
- NATO later having German ex-nazi's on prominent positions, after all, they shared their new enemy, Russia.

War is just one big propaganda machine. If you don't believe anything that's being said during war, and you'll be closer to the truth. That includes the present day fear mongering headlines.

Check out - Operation Unthinkable
             - UPA 1940 to 1956 ? - Modern day Right Sector
             - MIA / KIA - missing Allied POW's of the West
             - Churchill's betrayal of the White Cossacks

You are right. What we are told is the tip of the iceberg. Another great doco series - Oliver Stones Untold History of the United States.

A more recent conflict doco - Roses have thorns - Ukraine

Great post, few others...

Stalin's collaboration with Hitler forming an official alliance with the Nazi's early in the war and helping themselves pillage Poland.  Conveniently ignored by Russia after the war.

Henry Ford's open admiration for Hitler and financial contributions.  Shameful and conveniently forgotten by American history.

Japan never was held accountable (to my knowledge) for cruel treatment of Chinese for chemical weapon production and testing.  It is a dirty secret they would rather forget.

The Rudolph Hess incident, with the UK government still to this day, keeping the details of peace proposal a State secret along with other sensitive details of WWII.  Allegedly some of the British royalty were very sympathetic to the Nazi regime and wanted to collaborate with Germany.   Why is the UK govt still keeping this classified?

Yes it is true that the foundation of America's space and military rocket technology was developed largely by Nazi scientists.  Taboo topic hardly ever acknowledged.

Russians repeatedly lied and gave misinformation about the remains of Hitler.  Western forensic scientists proved the alleged skull fragments held in Moscow were in fact not his.  Worse, the Russians were said to move the alleged remains of Hitler several times including excavation of his grave.  Very bizarre how the Russians repeatedly lie and can't get their story straight.

Russia never signed an Alliance with Germany. It was an Non Aggression Pact. A slight difference but enough to be recognized. That however is how the Pact was recognized by the West post WW2, forgetting things like US businesses trading and financing Germany til 41 and same with Japan for steel. GB installing Germany's fascist Greek Govt back into power post WW2, creating a state in the Middle East post WW2 - Israel. At the time the Jewish population in the region being only 8pc of the total population and many other things.

To balance things. Stalins treatment of one of his greatest Generals - Konstantin Rokossovsky. Pre war - purge, trial and torture. Then post WW2 when he became to popular with the Russian public.

The Japanese history books show a whole different story about WWII nowadays. Rewriting history is a proven and very effective way of propaganda. From what I've seen and read, the Japanese were the most sadistic bast*rds of that war. I bet almost nobody there has heard of Unit 731.

What's more, the US actually gladly accepted the biological warfare data gathered from the Japanese experiments and their "scientists". Only the Russians actually brought these criminals to court, like it should. The west didn't.

Most sadistic nation is tough one.  Russia has lots of blood on its hands too.  Even against their own people.  The Japanese were especially cruel and sadistic against the Chinese and POW's.  Yes as I understand that Chemical Weapons unit and the Japanese leadership associated with it were never brought to justice.  It could be the American Govt felt the Atomic bombs were enough punishment & wanted to turn the page.  But China was really the victim of those Chemical Weapon experiments.  Nazi Germany has countless examples of cruel medical experiments. all kinds of sick stuff.

Yes I think you are right.  The troubling incidents performed by the Japanese Chemical Weapons unit against innocent Chinese civilian non-combatants I bet has been carefully omitted from Japanese history.  But America does the same about the Nazi scientists and other inconvenient truths.  Hardly ANY mention whatsoever that Henry Ford supported Hitler and made it known he did before the war.  Only us history buffs know these dirty secrets.

Still waiting for the UK government to declassify records about Rudolf Hess and his peace treaty alleged offer.  I think it will be 2020 when UK finally will release that info.  And Russia probably never will admit to what they did with Hitler's remains.  Probably Stalin kept them.

No...it was actually a group of Jewish radical terrorists that bombed and attacked British military facilities in their Palestine colony after the war.  The British government wanted no part of future attacks or violence and had not much choice but to evacuate Palestine.  Thus that created a vacuum of power the Jewish refugees exploited to their advantage and then drove out the Palestinians at gunpoint via battles.  Thus became untenable situation for UK.  Not really their fault and they did not intend for that to happen.

For me the Rape of Nanking. Even the Nazi's were horrified. On Israel, there appears to be proof now that at the least US and possible GB post WW1 were talking about a Jewish State. As you say, at the expense of the local majority population of Palestinians.

In recent times of War Crimes that have gone unpunished. The illegal invasion of Iraq. Directly resulting in the death of 110,000 dead Iraqi civilians Nov 2013 and many more since. Of course there is the use of torture, beatings, drone kills, concentration camps - Abu Gharib, false imprisonments based on bounties for locals, coverup killings of civilians and media. All resulted from the lies over Iraq having WMD's, Al Qeada's presence before the illegal invasion.

Oh, if you want to go down that path of discussion, I can really recommend watching this video by prof. Lawrence Wilkerson, ex-senior advisor to the US chief of staff, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM_MH_Bfq5c. Really insightful, candid video.

I remember him saying, that in 8 years of Reagan only, US committed 58 coups/revolutions/regime changes. The magnitude of the modern global empire is quite staggering.

And once you realize that all things related to war and these geopolitical operations are covered by a non-stop cloud of misinformation, propaganda, and false flagging, from all sides, you have to take it into account when forming your opinion on the media channels, that kindly bring you the "news" every day, right to your living room. Just between the commercials.

Great video cheers, I hadn't seen that one. Here is another but on the Maidan Massacre.

Also Oliver Stones Untold History of the US - Prequel B. General Smedley Butler admits and apologizes for assisting US Companies use of US Military for financial gain. List campaigns he's been involved in and how US Govt turns on him. A very hard video to find but torrents have it.
