PostPosted: Sat Feb 27, 2016 1:11 pm Post subject: CCMT: Operation Just Cause Reply with quote

I wanted to start a new topic since I have been considering converting CC2: Just Cause to work in a recent CC Release.

I came to conclusion. CCMT would be suitable. Actually CCM: AT would be excellent (night battles, civilians) but no Databook, did anyone try?.
1) Custom Deployment Zones.
2) No Need for Stratmap
3) Mounting soldiers on Vehicles
4) Readily Available Vehicles in game (LAV-25, M113, etc.)

with the expense of not having Campaign and Ops

What needs to be done:
1) Sounds are already great, just export them to CCMT.
2) Same True for Weapon Graphics.
3) Maps needs to be converted
4) Can vehicles graphics (panamian armoured vehicles are not available) be converted?
5) Uniform colors are already great, what is the best tool for editing them in CCMT?
6) New battles needs to be created using available information.

Great Idea ke_mechial - I would love to see more CCMT or CCMAT mods!

Good luck on this project.

I have attached a "workbook" - were I have guessed at the new Coloumns of CCMAT - maybe it can save some work if you go that route.

CCMAT requires maps to be square at 120 x 120 tiles.

Vehicle graphics can probably be converted from CC2 - It was done for CC2 Redux for CCMT by Zon I believe.

CCMT uniform color editor is attached.

CCM AT/JTAC will also handle up to 480x120 tile maps and , if I remember correctly, 240x240. There were 5 of these 3840m x 960m maps created.

The minimap on Big Badlands above is gridded at 100m increments. I believe the CCM AT/JTAC version available here at CCS.net doesnt include the FireSupport Server and Fire Support Controller .exes necessary to utilize Close Air Support or Indirecr fires.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
