Hello there!
I will resume playing CC3 somez time tonight!  I had lost my CD 2years ago but just managed to get another one this morning.
This game I really like been playing it for years. In fact started  withh CC1 and followed with all the others...But The Russian Front was always my favorite!
So yes I do play it.
Amicalement

CC3 AI is somewhat different and more challenging than the new releases. I had created a custom battle for CC3: Vietnam, where a surrounded battlegroup in the forest got attacked simultaneously at 4 different points by several teams, had really pushed my adrenaline...

Since Hicks proposed me a H2H CC3 game i wonder what i need to do for this. I have almost no experience in multiplayer game except in local network a long long time ago...

Whats the best way? Is it possible on game ranger? what about direct IP?

I think you need your internal and external ip addresses and can then connect. There seem to be two ip addresses listed when you enter the multiplayer menu. The person hosting would need to provide the person looking to join with the ip address. Then the person joining would use "Host IP" to enter the address and presumably connect directly.

Whoever hosts, I think they'd need to set port forwarding as well.

After several unfortunate tries with direct IP feature included in game, Hicks and me had a game on game ranger. It worked fine... until 3rd day of operation. Game crashed and we're clueless about why. Nevertheless we had great fun. I hadn't play H2H for 10 years and it feels good  :D

P.S. Hicks slaughtered my men with very nice tactics. But i will avenge  Very Happy

That infantry gun on the hill was a very nice choice though, got one of the Mk III's crewmen.

I got the gog account issue sorted. I checked and there is a save game of our operation in progress as well. Looking forward to continuing in the future!

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
