Been gone awhile but im on a CC3/5 kick. Anyway, I was going through my mods on all of my DVD's and I come across one that not here.. I guess no one finished it or was it finished, and much like the war.. was forgotten?
questions:
what ever happened to the mod and was it finished?
Does anyone know what im talking about?
Does someone want it to play or archive?
Having CC 5 issues with the game and config mgr atm which is odd because CC3 worked flawlessly..In anycase, Im going to try to get it working later. Not sure how complete it is and no way to tell. It says beta but that is nothing knew with mods.. Pacmod for CC3 was always labeled a beta..LOL
I opened up the plugin. Saw the usual then I saw a txt file names USNamesFORUM

occurred to me that this might imply online play with me.. not the case .. play in general..

Hi Brandenburg, I have heard about the CC5 Korea mod. Also recall having seen a strategic map but I have never seen or played a finished version. If the mod is not hosted on the cso forum then you may have found the unicorn among CC5 mods 
Did you know Cathartes was one of the creators of CC Gateway to Caen?

no i didnt but i recognized that name from GJS for CC5 and Kreta from CC2

I cant uninstal the game properly and reinstall like id like. Tried and even with an uninstaller program, something is still in the registry causing issues. I remember this being a problem with a install of CC 5 back in the day.. Its rare but if it ever screwed up, good luck on ever installing it again without a full restore.
In anycase, I managed to do a manual install.. CC5 fried its registry entries and since config needs these entries to tell it where the main CC directory is.. See where im going with this.. lol Well I managed to atleast get the game to boot with the main screen as well as the strategic layer.. It Pays to know the folder structure of CC .. I do hate manual installs though.
See world im not crazy ......or am I.. muhahaha. My cat tell me im not but since she really is crazy.. Does she mean, i'm not as crazy as her ? lol She aint quite right but she is a pretty kitteh/true story

not really sure how i came to have it . lol . maby i was asked to test something or was given to me for writing the plug in scripts. the later seems likely.
I look forward to see'ing how much is done once i get my CC5 install to cooperate. I suspect that only the maps and the strategy map connections need to be done. Never mapped in cc but it looks like it.You know, Okinawa maps might look pretty ok with this mod i bet. I think that was the idea at the time too
