Hello,
I'm having something of a weird problem with Cross of Iron (base game) and when playing the CoI version of Fin Mod. I'd had it working fine but now once having won (or lost) a map the game crashes to desktop with an error message: "An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function". I can start the game, load maps and play on them fine. It's just when exiting to the debrief screen that it shits the bed. Very odd as I've been able to get CC3 (original release) working quite happily.
For the record; Win7 x64.
Any help would be great, I've got an itch to continue with FinMod.

Not sure on this one - Other who know better should speak up.
Seems like a graphics error or sound error connected to the debrief screen to me.
Did you make any changes in the files between when it was working and now experiencing crashes?

Modified sounds and data files. Added the modified explosion effects and they were all working on the base CoI game and FinMod. Tried the game today with the same (modified files) and I get the debrief screen crash. I'll try the game in its unmodified form and see what happens but I'm honestly not holding out much hope. CoI has been little but trouble for me.

I suspect sound in this case. - I get this "An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function" when my sound file is missing a spesific sound or some other issue with sound files on CCMT and that game is build on CC3 base.

Explosion graphics would not cause this.
It would seem things get curiouser and curiouser dear Alice :/
I did a fresh install of CoI. Tested that without mods - works.
Added FinMod - works.
Added my sound mod - works.
Added explosion effects - works.
Me - confused.
Well... it seems to be working for now at least. Thank you again for taking the time to suggest issues and fixes
