Hi Sapa, glad to see your back to CC.

The elements file in WAR and CC4 Classic are different - See pic. - A lot more elements in WAR..

You would need to convert old or "classic" maps with 5CC or CC2 tools to make them work for WAR.

Yes, you can - 5CC is a great tool that can do a lot of nice things:)

Load map - ACTIONS - DATA BULK REPLACEMENT - OPEN THE CC4toWaR TABLE (the table is in 5CC folder) - REPLACE -Then save the new map accordingly.

Enjoy any classic map in WaR.

Its been a long time but I don't remember it being too difficult to replace the Dasburg map in WAR with the original Forrieres map from CCIV
Granted I did make a few graphic changes by adding a Train and re-codded the tanker box cars to be Explosive.

Sadly to say I don't remember much since I haven't modded WAR in years.

I guess the old Grey Mare ain't what she used to be. Smile

Re-live the glory days of Swedish domination with invasion of Russia mod.  Maybe someone can track down TT to get him to help make another mod.  Mr. Cameron is right...you should make another mod with TT.  Or whatever happened to Dreaded88?
