There were a couple of maps that wouldn't load so I re-downloaded them individually. One of those was St. Hubert. However, when trying to play a battle on this map I get an unfamiliar message: "unable to open the file .../maps/ nce into .txt"

Any suggestions?

With thanks.

No file of that name. All the map files I've got for St. Hubert are named StHubert.[...] - that's what seems odd about the error. It has the StHubert.txt file in the maps folder as well. If it were to say: "Unable to open StHubert.ovm" then I could understand it.

I just checked the maps here on the site. St Hubert is not included. Upon playing the mod I got an error about the sthubert.txt file. Are you playing Nomada_Firefox's Ardennes?

Ok so theres...

CC5 Ardennes Offensive 1.13 VetBoB
&
CC5_ArdennesOffensive_v1.03_plugin.zip

StHubert works on 1.13 VetBoB. Does not work on 1.03 as the map files are missing except the btd file. Are these even the same mods? Is 1.03 just an older version?

I see where I've missed something now. I'd downloaded the separate map from the vet bob subdirectory after doing a general search for the file - I just hadn't noticed the subdirectory's title.

Any ideas on what file I need to download to be able to play the St. Hubert map with the 1.03 version? It shows at the far East of the campaign map so it'll be a while before I reach it.

Just thinking out loud. I've got Close Combat 4 so if I need to; would it be possible for me to convert CC4's St. Hubert map to use with the 1.03 mod?

Download StHubert from the VetBoB version at http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Downloads&op=getit&lid=665.

That's the set of files that I have installed. It still pops up the error message:

"Close Combat Error"
Close Combat was unable to open the file:
G:\Games\CLOSEC~4\Maps(\)nce into .txt

The spaces in the error message particularly puzzle me - that and the CLOSEC~4 as though it is looking for the CC4 directory? There have been other maps that weren't working or were missing that I've been able to directly replace. This one though is the stubborn exception.

Can add Chenogne to that list of issues. New error message as well: "Unable to open file: ...maps\e. the s.txt"

This is after replacing/adding the files from the vetmod maps.
