Hello
I have an error in launching the CCIII mod France 1940 "Game \ Data \ Base \ 'uoNmaes.txt mode (emphasis on the u and o strikethrough).
What are the modifications to do if there are any?
Thank you in advance for your help.
maybe try another compatibility setting, for example windows 7 instead of windows 10?
also use adminstrator rights
what else did you tried?
No, it does it on all windows versions and has nothing to do with compatibility but rather the transcription of the special character file. And i don't know what to do.

What is this "uoNmaes.txt file? I don't have CC3 installed but I do have COI and I can not imagine there should be a file with that name. Are all required text files present in that folder?

To those that say there is no such file. THIS is a mod and much like Western front that has a file called USNames.txt.. this one has a file that original did not belong to CC.. France 40 is a bit different to most most mods as it has battles, ops, and several campaigns that have been integrated to the CC. There is a reason the original battles and ops were deleted. This Mod would not work otherwise. This required the modders to extensively hex edit the exe and dll to get it to work..
I too had that problem but I just downloaded it again and somehow it fired right up..
France 40 is on my todo list to convert it to COI which requires me to figure what the creators did in the 1st place.. I have deduced that the only way they could of gotten those battles and ops to work was with hex editing.

and I have no answer for you. I "fixed" it by accident and not sure why the error happened and then disappeared nor why this mod was released with such an obvious error..
I can fool the config to install it but the mod would crash as I expected it would..somehow It started to work and the only thing I remembered doing was re-download it
eventually Ill get around to converting this to COI but its not going to be easy job to do..
