Hi
I have all the CC games to date and been playing these on and off for years. Recently, a friend has asked me whether I want to play H2H via serial link either CC2,3,4 and/or 5. I'd love to but the problem I have is my laptops - I have an old Sony Vaio running windows 7 and a new MSI with windows 10. I know from reading through various posts that windows 7 and 10 pose problems.
Having perused through the forums, i'm coming to the conclusion that my best bet is to acquire an old laptop which I can pick up for c£50, which isn't a problem. My question is, what sort of spec would I require, Windows XP? and I assume the onboard graphics would suit.

On Windows 7 you can use Windows XP mode- virtual machine, old CCs works good in it. Assuming you have a Professional edition of Windows and CPU with HW assisted virtualization. Otherwise, you can always use virtual machine software like VMware Workstation or Parallels Desktop on modern PC to create such a VM with WinXP and run CCs inside of it, including Internet access for H2H. For such path, you will need legal WinXP disk&key and spent some about 40 USD for VM software, CPU with HW assisted virtualization is welcome too.

Yes and right now they have big sale, just ordered CC3 for only 1.49 US dollars. And works pretty good except CC2 has mouse ghosting. CC3 GOG version is much better. No Mac version of CC2 on GOG.
